Pratz

Pratz is one of my favorite spots. It's reliable, unpretentious, close to my apartment, and always puts me in a good mood.

Pratz is a cave à manger which basically means it's a wine shop where you can eat! The bottles are priced to go and if you opt to eat and drink sur place there's a 7€ corkage fee. Tomas, the owner, offers excellent guidance and will help you find a little treasure on his shelves. All bio, mostly nature, and focused on small producers, the wines available are always interesting.

I recommend sitting at one of the small tables or grab a stool by the window and order truffle ham and burrata to enjoy with your wine!

More into a picnic? Order a picnic basket from them packed with a selection of charcuterie and cheese for two and a chilled bottle of white or rosé in a cute Pratz bag.

Great pizza in Paris

Faggio

When I want great wine to go with my pizza I head to Faggio. The wood fired pizzas are on point, the space is trendy, and the wine list emphasizes natural wines and small producers.

The Diavola (my favorite) is topped with spicy sausage, red onion, fior di latte, and smoked mozzarella - a little spice and everything nice

Il Brigante

My forever favorite pizza place in Paris.

Tucked away in the 18th arrondissement behind the Sacre Coeur, Il Brigante is a small pizzeria that is all Italian. A pretty small place, the front room has two communal tables and three two tops run down the hall to the kitchen. Reservations are a must but delivery is now also available (but I highly recommend eating sur place!)

Charming in its simplicity, the only thing on the menu is pizza and a couple desserts. The wine list is short, just a few Italian reds and whites to choose from. There are no soups, salads, or appetizers offered - pizza only! Whenever we've gone the place has been packed and I've developed a skill for climbing over the table to get to my spot on the bench. I don't know if it's policy or luck but each of out visits has ended with an offer of our choice of limoncello or grappa while paying out bill.

Lucky Luciano

My neighborhood joint with a slightly thicker crust when I want a good comfort pizza.

The best pizzeria in Batignolles! Lucky Luciano lets it's dough rise for four days which means each pizza is packed with flavor. My favorite is the Quattro Mori eggplant and spicy salami.
